I saw A Behanding in Spokane (Broadway) on 03/24/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 3-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “it was entertaining, but not his best work”

I had a good time and left the show feeling entertained, a bit "eh" and slightly let down. I'd describe the show as odd, interesting, and clever. Christopher walken was a highlight of the show because he makes this show. If this were a movie, I'd rate it R. I would recommend this show to people with an odd sense of humor, Christopher Walken fans but not to small kids, or matinee ladies.

I saw this show because it was free, and I like Martin McDonaugh. I would see it again. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was fine and the seats were ok.

I thought this show was a bit of a let down....it is not nearly as good as McDonaugh's other plays. It isn't even as gross or weird as his other writing. The thing that MAKES this show is Christopher Walken. He can be funny just by tilting his head a bit, and it makes the entire play funnier. Sam Rockwell is odd, endearing, and pretty great. Anthony Mackie is just fine, and Zoe Kazan is terribly miscast. The direction is interesting. The whole play just needed more of a "wow" factor for me.
