I saw A Life in the Theatre (Broadway) on 09/29/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 3-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “2 wonderful actors in a very light weight play about the ins and outs of daily life in the theater.”

I had a good time and left the show feeling cheated out of a better play and sorry that the actors don't have better material. I'd describe the show as funny and great to look out and always a quick 90 minutes. Patrick stewart was a highlight of the show because he is an acting God . If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to actors .

I saw this show because of the combo of Mamet, Pepe and those actors.. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was perfect and the seats were just fine.

Would love to see these actors in a really meaty wonderful play like The Dresser. I know that TR is thrilled to back on B'way and he gets to play with Patrick Stewart!!! It's just too bad they don't have better material.
