A Review of Arcadia (Broadway)
By ran X., May 09, 2011
I saw Arcadia (Broadway) on 05/08/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “It is a show to remember. I saw it three times and the subtlety of the presentation still gets me”
I had a fantastic time and left the show feeling enlightened. I'd describe the show as touching, well-constructed, and fulfilling. Bel powley was a highlight of the show because she carried the character of Thomasina out beautifully. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to theater goers with a need for knowledge but not to those who only seek contentless comedies.
I saw this show because I loved it. I would see it again. I sat in the left orchestra area of the theater. The view was complete and the seats were good.
