I saw Avenue Q (Off Broadway) on 01/06/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “funny and witty contemporary musical theater piece complete with puppets and Gary Coleman”

I had a fantastic time and left the show feeling cheerful. I'd describe the show as witty, original, and lighthearted. Anika larsen was a highlight of the show because she embodied 2 complete different characters so well. If this were a movie, I'd rate it R. I would recommend this show to friends but not to young children.

I saw this show because I wanted to see Anika Larsen in the role. I would see it again. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was clear with a nice full view and the seats were comfortable.

It's sad she's left Avenue Q, but Anika Larsen is the best in this role! Her Kate/Lucy is impeccable.

Loved Anna Louizos's set - so creative, functional, quirky and full of character. Each actor portrayed the puppet characters so well that you really did fall in love with those foam friends.
