I saw Billy Elliot (Broadway) on 01/17/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Great family musical!”

I've seen "Billy Elliot" three times over the course of a little more than a year and it's my favorite show to recommend to families, and those who are looking for heart-warming, feel good shows. I've seen Trent Kowalik, Kiril Kulish, and Liam Redhead as Billy and all were fabulous and gave incredible performances. The show itself is extremely heartfelt, and the dancing is superb.
