I saw Billy Elliot (Broadway) on 02/12/09. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “It was a spectacle... In a very good way. The children are so talented, and the story is inspiring.”

I had a wonderful time and left the show feeling inspired and uplifted. I'd describe the show as empowering, touching, and magical. The angry dance was a highlight of the show because Billy danced with so much feeling and passion. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to everyone but not to no one.

I saw this show because I was given tickets. I would see it again. I sat in the right balcony area of the theater. The view was clear but far and the seats were uncomfortable.

This show made me remember what it feels like to fight for your ability to dance. I felt so inspired and moved by the story and felt like I understood Billy's struggle to defy the expectations of his family in order to follow his dreams. It's a touching story that everyone will enjoy.
