I saw Bye Bye Birdie (Broadway) on 10/15/09. Overall, I'd say it was a 3-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “I was entertained but can admit it was not a hit”

I had a great time and left the show feeling happy and uplifted. I'd describe the show as traditional, entertaining, and funny. Jayne houdyshell was a highlight of the show because she really stood out for me in her role as Albert's mother. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to people who don't normally see theater but not to theater connoseurs.

I saw this show because I was offered opening night tickets. I would see it again. I sat in the left orchestra area of the theater. The view was clear and the seats were comfy.
