I saw Driving Miss Daisy (Driving Miss Daisy ) on 10/30/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “all-star cast, but it doesn't feel necessary for this to be on Broadway now.”

I had a decent time and left the show feeling a little depressed. I'd describe the show as funny, sweet, and moving. The performances by all three actors was a highlight of the show because they are legends. If this were a movie, I'd rate it G. I would recommend this show to people who want to see big names but not to people who want to see edgy new works.

I saw this show because I like to see everything. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the mezzanine area of the theater. The view was pretty good and the seats were too close together.

This is a perfectly fine production of Driving Miss Daisy with a strong cast, but whereas some revivals feel timely, I just don't know why this needs to be on Broadway now. This show sells out because of the names and yet new shows fail on Broadway all the time, so though I enjoyed the show, I would rather recommend other things. I just didn't leave feeling excited or wanting to talk about it.
