I saw Fela! (Broadway) on 05/19/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Unlike anything I've ever seen on Broadway. It's explosive, high energy and an amazing production.”

If you are looking for something new and different this is your show. The music and dancing are amazing. You leave feeling full of life and energy and wanting to see much more.

There are two leads who switch off due to the demanding performance required. I saw Kevin Mambo, he was amazing, a true star! I am SHOCKED he was not nominated for a Tony. It was one of the best male lead performances I have seen in a very long time.
