I saw Fences (Broadway) on 05/12/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “it was a wonderful revival”

I had a great time and left the show feeling very satisfied and impressed. I'd describe the show as powerful, well done, and top notch. Viola davis was a highlight of the show because she was a revalation. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to anyone but not to young kids.

I saw this show because a friend asked me to go with them. I would see it again. I sat in the left orchestra area of the theater. The view was excellent and the seats were fine.

Viola Davis deserves the Tony. Denzel plays a not so nice charater. I was not prepared for that. I had not seen the play before. The cast was excellent. The sets were very elaborate.
