A Review of Good People (Broadway)
By Jack H., May 21, 2011
I saw Good People (Broadway) on 05/18/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “it is an engaging new play”
I'd describe the show as well acted, thought provoking, and funny.
I saw this show because of its Tony nominations and the fact that it was closing soon. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. .
I was anxious to see Frances McDormand do a South Boston accent since we are so accustomed to her Minnesota twang! Her performance was excellent as was all of the cast. Estelle Parsons was hillarious. Tate Donovan's character was spot-on as well. This show closes soon (at this theater) but if we see a Tony win mabe it will pop up in another theater soon. Everything that the MTC does is excellent and this is no exception.
