I saw In The Heights (Broadway), but I don't remember exactly when. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Seeing this a second time was a charm for this show! ”

I had a FANTASTIC time and left the show feeling ENERGIZED and UPBEAT. I'd describe the show as FUNNY, ENERGETIC, and TOUCHING. The character of sonny was a highlight of the show because he is hilarious. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to friends, family, coworkers but not to people who are racist.

I saw this show because I had just went to the matinee of Next to Normal and needed something upbeat to see. I would see it again. I sat in the left mezzanine area of the theater. The view was very clear and the seats were typical theater seats.

I saw this show for the first time the summer after it came out. I left feeling bored, but I was also exhausted that day. Then I was listening to Broadway on Broadway on XM Radio and every night at 11pm they play a complete Broadway cast album and it happened to be In the Heights. I held a new appreciation for the show and decided to give it another try. Enjoyed it more the second time around!! I plan to take my mom back to see it again bc she did not like it the first time either.
