A Review of La Cage Aux Folles (Broadway)
By Sheri-Lynn F., June 09, 2010
I saw La Cage Aux Folles (Broadway) on 04/17/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “What an amazing production!”
I had a wonderful time and left the show feeling touched and wanting to see it again!. I'd describe the show as heart-felt, funny, and superbly acted. Douglas hodge's performance as albin was a highlight of the show because he truly was incredible in the role and so deserving of his Tony nomination!. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to everyone but not to children under 13.
I saw this show because it was an incredible production. I would see it again. I sat in the right orchestra area of the theater. The view was excellent and the seats were great.
How wonderful is it to see a show that reminds us that ALL differences should be celebrated and admired? This production was extremely heartfelt and the performances were exquisite! Definitely would recommend this show to everyone!
