I saw La Cage Aux Folles (Broadway) on 09/09/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Douglas Hodge. Douglas Hodge. Douglas Hodge. ”

I had a tremendously good time and left the show feeling like a gay man and a huge musical theatre geek. I'd describe the show as funny, sexy, and smart. Douglas hodge was a highlight of the show because his performance of "I Am What I Am" was PERFECT. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to teens, gays and musical theatre geeks but not to those who don't usually care for musicals.

I saw this show because I heard everyone squeeling over the performances. I would see it again. I sat in the center balcony area of the theater. The view was great because I was able to lean on the railing and the seats were pretty good.

Kelsey Grammer is adorable in it, though I couldn't help but wish they had cast someone who could sing and dance a bit better in the role. Acting-wise - he nailed it...but overall I felt his performance could have been even better if it had had just a little more magic.
