I saw La Cage Aux Folles (Broadway) on 05/06/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “The definitive production of a classic. Showstoppingly good.”

I had a fantastic time and left the show feeling joyous and excited. I'd describe the show as hysterical, moving, and vibrant. Those wonderful, dangerous cagelles was a highlight of the show because they are insane dancers and have created such fun personas. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to pretty much everyone but not to little kids or people who really dislike gays.

I saw this show because I was given a ticket. I would see it again. I sat in the right orchestra area of the theater. The view was Perfect and the seats were pretty comfy.

This is the must see show of the season! Great fun, but also very touching and moving. It could not be more topical, and the show doesn't feel at all dated. The chemistry between the 2 leads is beautiful. Kelsey Grammar is great fun and very charming. Robin De Jesus is scene-stealing and hysterical. Douglas Hodge gives one of the best performances I have seen in years...moving, layered, detailed, and so very funny. And what can you say about those cagelles, but fierce!! SEE IT!!!
