I saw Legally Blonde The Musical (U.S. Tour) on 04/28/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 2-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “In comparison to the Original Broadway Cast, it was absolutely miserable to watch.”

I had a terrible time and left the show feeling upset and really discouraged. I'd describe the show as forced, slow, and unusual. The courtroom scene was a highlight of the show because it had minimal choreography. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to people who enjoy Legally Blonde the movie but not to my theatre friends.

I saw this show because it was free and I enjoyed it on Broadway. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the center balcony area of the theater. The view was decent and the seats were comfortable.

I really did enjoy the show when I saw it on Broadway, but I just wasn't impressed with the differences that I witnessed in the touring production. The dancing was not up to par, the choreography was bad, the energy level was low and the changed lyrics were not catchy/enjoyable. I would HIGHLY recommend watching the recording of the Original Cast on MTV.
