I saw Legally Blonde The Musical (U.S. Tour) on 01/02/09. Overall, I'd say it was a 3-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Decent production, but I'm not sure I would spend my money on it again”

After seeing the Broadway production on MTV, this tour was a let down. The cast was amazing, but the set was almost non existent. I know they scale down a little for tours, but there was barely anything there. As a technical theatre major, I really do look for those things. Maybe it's just me. The Elle was strong but a little unconvincing. For the money I paid, I had a decent time, but I'm not sure I would pick that show over something else touring in D.C. again. The story is strong though and gives a good message. This is a show for ages 10 and up.
