A Review of Lombardi (Broadway)
By Dan S., November 17, 2010
I saw Lombardi (Broadway) on 10/27/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “the acting, writing and staging were top-notch and Tony-worthy.”
I had a phenomenal time and left the show feeling inspired and invigorated. I'd describe the show as amazing, terrific, and astounding. Dan lauria and judith light was a highlight of the show because they were so believable and Mr. & Mrs. Vince Lombardi. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to everyone but not to people who don't enjoy live theater.
I saw this show because I'm a Green Bay Packers fan and amateur Vince Lombardi historian. I would see it again. I sat in the right orchestra area of the theater. The view was good and the seats were comfortable.
I had the pleasure of sitting immediately behind Tony Danza, who was there to support his former TV co-star Judith Light. I think he enjoyed the show almost as much as I did.
