I saw Mary Poppins (Broadway) on 09/03/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 2-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “not so much...”

I'd describe the show as overrated, trying too much, and casual. Laura michelle kelly was a highlight of the show because she acted perfectly in every way - singing, acting and dancing. I would recommend this show to kids but not to adults.

I saw this show because someone recommended it to me. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the center balcony area of the theater. The view was quite bad and the seats were o.k.

The problem with this show was that you expect the story you know of Mary Poppins, but you get something different since everything was changed for the stage production.
None the less, after the show I went to the stage door and all the main cast members went out to sign autographs. They were all so kind, as in really really kind, but especially Laura Michelle Kelly - the nicest person I've ever met!
