I saw Memphis (Broadway) on 03/05/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “I LOVED every minute of it”

I had a great time and left the show feeling fulfilled and informed. I'd describe the show as energetic, emotional, and soulful. Chad kimball was a highlight of the show because of the nonstop energy he brings to the character of Huey Calhoon. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to everyone but not to young kids.

I saw this show because I got a great deal on the tickets, but now that I've seen it I don't know why I waited so long. I would see it again. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was clear and the seats were fine.

The story of Memphis completely original with awesome music and amazing talent! Chad Kimball and Montego Glover are perfect as well as the supporting cast. If you don't have tears in your eyes when Derrick Baskin sings "Say A Prayer" or have a smile on your face when James Monroe Iglehart sings "Big Love" there might be something wrong with you-I'm just saying. After seeing the show, you truly appreciate what it takes to do a show like this 8 times a week.
