I saw Memphis (Broadway) on 01/30/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 3-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “not terribly memorable”

I had a OK time and left the show feeling less than satisfied and disappointed. I'd describe the show as slow, lackluster, and silly. The act 1 finale was a highlight of the show because it was the one piece of music I enjoyed. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to someone being offered cheap or free tix but not to friends.

I saw this show because everyone was raving about it. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the center mezzanine area of the theater. The view was far away and the seats were fine.
