I saw Memphis (Broadway) on 08/05/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Memphis is an orginal show on Broadway with fabulous acting, singing and dancing. A must see!”

I had a amazing time time and left the show feeling happy and singing the songs in my head. I'd describe the show as thought provoking, joyous, and fun, fun, fun. Memphis lives in me was a highlight of the show because it is so beautiful. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to everyone over the age of 8 but not to to children under 8.

I saw this show because it won the TONY. I would see it again. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was clear and the seats were comfy.

If you are going to see one show in NYC make it Memphis the Musical. It has everything a musical should, great music, fabulous acting, and amazing dancing. The story will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will remind just how far we have come, and how far we have to go. You will leave the show singing the songs and smiling.
