I saw Mrs. Warren's Profession (Broadway) on 09/05/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “An intelligent, witty, intense mother-daughter drama that must have been shocking in Shaw's time!”

I had a thought-provoking time and left the show feeling surprised and impressed. I'd describe the show as smart, scathing, and even a bit feminist. Cherry jones and sally hawkins was a highlight of the show because their stellar acting really brought the conflict between them to life. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to fans of British period pieces, George Bernard Shaw and/or verbal pyrotechnics but not to small children or people with short attention spans.

I saw this show because I received free tickets. I would see it again. I sat in the right orchestra area of the theater. The view was adequate and the seats were okay.

The costumes, wigs, elaborate sets, and incidental music between acts were also wonderful!
