I saw Next To Normal (Broadway) on 11/01/09. Overall, I'd say it was a 1-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “It takes your emotions and play with them, you cry, you're scared, you are in shock.”

I had a stunning time and left the show feeling excited and delighted. I'd describe the show as vibrant, touching, and shocking. Alice ripley was a highlight of the show because she takes you through a trip of feelings with her voice and acting. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to everybody but not to kids.

I saw this show because I wanted to see it. I would see it again. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was so clear and the seats were perfect.
