I saw Next To Normal (Broadway) on 07/18/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Next to Normal is the best show to hit Broadway in years and like nothing you've seen before. ”

I had a incredible time and left the show feeling emotionally overwhelmed (in a good way) and optomistic. I'd describe the show as enthralling , emotional , and intelligent. The performances was a highlight of the show because each cast member was really at the top of their game that night. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to everyone (and I have) but not to kids under 13.

I saw this show because it was the final performances for Alice Ripley, Brian D'arcy James and Jen Damiano. I would see it again. I sat in the left mezzanine area of the theater. The view was perfect and the seats were comfortable.
