I saw Next To Normal (Broadway) on 08/17/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 2-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Eh. I really wanted to like it, but I didn't really feel for any of the characters.”

I had a unsatisfying time and left the show feeling tired and underwhelmed. I'd describe the show as a nobel effort, missed the mark, and ultimately boring. Sandwich making on the floor was a highlight of the show because that's what people off their meds do. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to people who like songs that scream at them but not to people off their meds.

I saw this show because I want to see an orignal show. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the right orchestra area of the theater. The view was fine and the seats were ok.
