I saw Power Balladz (Off Broadway) on 09/16/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “If you love "Rock of Ages," you'll enjoy this hilarious, rockin' romp through 80's power ballads!”

I had a wonderful time and left the show feeling energized and smiling. I'd describe the show as fun, a bit silly, and balls to the wall rock. All three of the cast members was a highlight of the show because they really have the pipes and the showmanship to pull off these songs. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to 80's rock fans and/or a sense of humor but not to someone looking for a real storyline kinda show.

I saw this show because I won free tickets. I would see it again. I sat in the left orchestra area of the theater. The view was fine and the seats were cabaret-style.

The trivia games, lectures about what makes a power ballad, etc., and the karaoke afterwards all add to the fun...and gotta love those cocktails and test tube shots!
