I saw Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Broadway) on 08/13/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “it was an entertaining, foot tapping extravaganza!”

I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was excellent.

The cast was excellent. I saw the originals in their roles. I enjoyed this show more than I thought I would. I was concerned about the "changes" made for a Broadway audience - added songs, different artists, etc. However, the songs were great, it moved along at a fast clip and was even touching in the second act. Fans of the movie will probably find fault with a couple of plot twists and the Bernadette/Bob relationship was not as fully developed. Tony Sheldon is a Broadway Star! Will Swenson is compelling and Nick Adams is a dynamo!
