I saw Promises, Promises (Broadway) on 04/23/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 3-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “the talent was amazing, show was OK”

Kristen Chenoweth and Sean Hayes are reason enough to see this show. Kristen's performance is effortless. She could sing the phone book and make it sound good and Sean Haye's comedic time is impeccable. Katie Finneran was amazing, she stole the scenes she was in.

The numbers that were highly choregraphed were fantastic, but other numbers lacked the excitement needed to make them show stoppers or even somewhat engaging.

And while there are some great and classic songs featured in the show, Turkey Lurkey Time, I'll Never Fall in Love Again, A House is not a Home and I Say A Little Prayer others left very little to be desired.
