A Review of Promises, Promises (Broadway)
By Jack H., December 08, 2010
I saw Promises, Promises (Broadway) on 12/05/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “it was a great afternoon in the theater”
I had a wonderful time and left the show feeling giddy and impressed. I'd describe the show as nostolgic, funny, and a surprise. Sean hayes was a highlight of the show because he can SING.
I sat in the left orchestra area of the theater. The view was supposed to be obstructed but it was perfect. and the seats were great (on the isle).
I have seen some so-so reviews of this show but it was very pleasently surprised. It was fantastic. Kristen Chenowth was in excellent voice as expected. Sean Hayes was a stitch and was pulling all sorts of pranks on the rest of the cast. He had been out sick for a week and we were so thrilled he was in the production on Sunday afdternoon. Molly Shannon was very funny as well. SEE This show before it closes right after the new year! I picked the show for my friends and I to see and everyone was thrilled!!
