I saw Rock of Ages (Broadway) on 05/22/09. Overall, I'd say it was a 3-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining”

I had a really fun time and left the show feeling rockin and lively. I'd describe the show as energetic, silly, and a great big pile of fun. Constantine maroulis was a highlight of the show because I honestly thought I would hate him, but he was really good. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to people in their 20's and 30's but not to nuns, grandparents, or people who dislike loud things.

I saw this show because I had a free night. I would see it again. I sat in the center balcony area of the theater. The view was clear but a bit far and the seats were ok.

This is the musical for you if you like a good time. The music is great, the story is silly, but I laughed a lot, and would definitely see this show again.
