I saw Rock of Ages (Broadway) on 05/30/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “As the song says, 'nothing but a good time'!”

I had a glorious time and left the show feeling exuberant and carefree. I'd describe the show as hilarious, kickass, and fun. Constantine maroulis was a highlight of the show because he's actually a fine actor as well as a top-notch musical performer (especially in the rock genre). If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to anyone with a sense of humor and an appreciation of 80's music but not to dour theatre snobs or parents bringing small children.

I saw this show because I'm currently obsessed with it, and twas Katherine Tokarz's final performance. I would see it again. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was clear and the seats were not an issue; I was in standing room.
