I saw Sister Act (Broadway) on 08/24/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “energenic and entertaining”

I sat in the left mezzanine area of the theater. .

I came to this show with high expectations. I am a big fan of the film and wanted to see how it transfered to the stage. All the music is original and no numbers from the film are included. Of course I did spend a lot of time mentally comparing the two but the stage show was very well done. Some of the changes were out of neccesity - no one was going to fly to Reno! And the Deloris/Eddie romance added to the story. The leads were supurb! The final number brought the house down! See it before it is gone!!
