I saw South Pacific (Broadway) on 11/12/09. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Great classic, beautiful music, good performances. Well done but not overwhelmingly good.”

I had a good time and left the show feeling sated and happy. I'd describe the show as gorgeous music, played by a terrific orchestra, and well staged. Matt morisson was a highlight of the show because he is an excellent actor. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to almost everyone.

I saw this show because because I heard the music alone was worth the trip. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the right orchestra area of the theater. The view was good and the seats were comfortable.
