A Review of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark (Broadway)
By Hannah T., April 08, 2011
I saw Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark (Broadway) on 04/06/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “An astounding piece of artwork, it's like having a comic book unfold before your eyes!”
I had a exceptional time and left the show feeling excited and amazed. I'd describe the show as engaging, lively, and action-packed. The green goblin's performance was a highlight of the show because he represented the villainous character to a "T". If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to people looking to be marveled by design, art and choreography but not to musicians because the songs were not up to par.
I saw this show because I was given tickets. I would see it again. I sat in the left orchestra area of the theater. The view was slightly obstructed and the seats were comfy.
