I saw Stomp (Off Broadway) on 08/21/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 2-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “A lot of sweeping and banging on trash cans. It gets tedious after a while.”

I had a uninspired time and left the show feeling sleepy and wanting my money back. I'd describe the show as loud, energetic, and ultimately dull. Some banging on things was a highlight of the show because that's what the show is. If this were a movie, I'd rate it G. I would recommend this show to kids who like loud noises but not to people who like a plot or actual music.

I saw this show because a friend took me. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the orchestra area of the theater. The view was fine and the seats were ok.
