I saw The Addams Family (Broadway) on 07/08/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “HILAAAAAAAAAAARIOUS!”

I had a joyful time and left the show feeling amused and entertained. I'd describe the show as laugh-out-REAL-loud funny, delightful, and entertaining. The opening number was a highlight of the show because of the familiarity of the theme song which transforms into the musical version. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to the creepy and the kooky, the mysterious and spooky but not to the undecided.

I saw this show because I was DYING to see the musical version of this classic. I would see it again. I sat in the center mezzanine area of the theater. The view was good and the seats were alright.
