I saw The Addams Family (Broadway) on 05/22/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “A vibrant under rated spectacle, fun for the entire family”

I had a Serendipitous time and left the show feeling well satisfied and blown away. I'd describe the show as creative genius, touching and fun, and a performance showcase. Nathan lane, bebe newirth, kevin chamberlin was a highlight of the show because they kept the show going, and were completely connected with the audience. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would recommend this show to anyone and everyone but not to people who just dont like theater.

I saw this show because it is so well put together and designed, I will constantly find new things in it. I would see it again. I sat in the center orchestra area of the theater. The view was full view and the seats were needing replacing.

I heard from a person affiliated with the show, "just go to it with an open mind", I thought to myself "oh hes just saying that because he is apart of the show, financially"! That was completely not the case. This show got bashed and in my opinion the critics were jealous of what was one of the most well designed and put together shows I have ever seen on Broadway. I still cant get over the lighting, sets, costumes, the physical production was enough to go pay $137.50 a ticket. But then there were the magnificent performances, Nathan Lane who is a Theater God and legend, Bebe Newirth who is a total gem and a joy to watch, Kevin Chamberlin who connected with the show and the audience so well, and how could you forget the amazing Carolee Carmelo's voice. This show is a MUST SEE. Take your family, your friends, your date, anyone, and I promise you they will enjoy it. It just goes to show you, the critics dont know what they are doing!
