I saw The Phantom of the Opera (Broadway) on 01/08/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 3-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Some things are timeless, but not this”

I had a odd time and left the show feeling unimpressed. I'd describe the show as dated. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG. I would not recommend this show to anyone under 40.

I saw this show because It's a social requirement. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the center mezzanine area of the theater. The view was good and the seats were fine.

Synthesizers, electric guitars, and organs. How can you beat that? And did he seriously just ride the chandelier? You bet he did. I'm not saying it wasn't fun, but it's from another era.
