I saw Time Stands Still (Broadway) on 10/07/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “It's a thought-provoking play with fabulous performances, especially from the divine Laura Linney.”

I had a fabulous time and left the show feeling invigorated and emotional. I'd describe the show as smart, topical, and touching. Laura linney was a highlight of the show because she's such an amazing actor. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to someone who wants a fabulous night in the theatre but not to someone who wants something light and fluffy.

I saw this show because I'm a huge Laura Linney fan. I would see it again. I sat in the right orchestra area of the theater. The view was great and the seats were fine.

I saw this show several times when it was open last season, and I loved it then, and I still love it now. I love that the play is so topical and speaks to a lot of issues I think about on a daily basis.

All four of the performers are excellent and work really well together as a unit. It was interesting to see how Linney, Brian d'Arcy James, and Eric Bogosian deepened their characterization and were really living within the bounds of the characters. Christina Ricci was a great addition to the cast, and she fits in nicely. I really liked Alicia Silverstone last season, and Ricci plays the role very differently, but to great effect. Linney carries this show, and reminds me why I enjoy theatre so much. It's so fascinating to watch someone so good at their job, right up close.

I'm ready to go see the show again. I love that I take something new away from the show each time I see it. It's such a wonderfully intense piece of theatre, and I really appreciate that it instigates a great conversation. I tend to think about it for a few days because it really stays with me, and that tells me that it's a great piece of theatre.
